LessThan3Vintage, and Blog Changes - Stay Tuned

I have been such a bad blogger. I have spent the past couple of weeks collecting amazing things for my vintage clothing store, and trying to figure out a way to connect this blog with <3 Vintage and make my blog better in general. My conclusion has been to get a better version of photoshop and figure out a way to make www.thriftyfashionista.com more than just a blogger blog.

In other news - the Housing works bag sale have returned twice a month.

Here are a couple of outfits.

This is from last Thursday when I went to see Batman. The tank top is Dior Homme and the belt is heavy duty vintage leather. So heavy duty that it broke in half while I was walking down the street. I am wearing my favorite Joes Jeans.

Last Monday I went to see my mom sing at a Jazz open mic. I wont lie I saw a girl wear something similar to this to Young Frankenstein and I had to copy it. I found these super colorful "wifebeaters" for $2 a piece at a store called Danice in Brooklyn. They have so many possibilites.

The jean cut-offs I am wearing were once my favorite pair of Hudson Jeans. Now they are my favorite shorts.

Cleaning House

It's a hard thing to detatch from a space - a good portion of your wardrobe. I am getting ready to move my stuff into my summer sublet, and because I know I'm going to have to move again to 2 months I have accepted the fact that a lot of my clothes are going to have to find new homes. I have a Beacons Closet pile, an Ebay pile, and piles with various peoples names on them. All the silly costume-y things I have collected are going away and while it kind of sucks I know that one day when I am settled I will have even more fabulous things.

In other news I am going to be re-doing this blog for a more summery feel.
Also, be sure to check out www.lessthan3vintage.com - There are some Norma Kamali and Betsey Johnson dresses up for sale with a few hours left to bid and over the next week I will be adding Ella Moss, A Bottega Veneta woven hobo bag, and some beautiful vintage dresses.

St. Pattys Day & Vintage

I felt a lot of stress while I was trying to get dressed on Monday - I didn't have a lot of green options -especially ones that were appropriate for the chilly whether. So I just stuck with Black and gray and wore My green beret I got at one of my swaps back in September (Loren brought it!.

It turned out to be just the perfect amount of Green!.
I love this hat so much because it reminds me of a Granny Smith apple.

On another more exciting note My Ebay Store is slowly being updated. I put up a couple of new auctions everyday.
You can go right to www.lessthan3vintage.com to check it out.
I am working on a blog just for the store as well.

Also please check out the vintage wares at my friend Tracys Etsy Store - as well as her awesome blog

Less Than 3 Vintage <3 Vintage

For those of you who don't know I have been in the process of getting a vintage clothing store up and running for the past 6 months.
www.lessthan3vintage.com is still a work in progress so for now I am hopping on the Ebay train.
If you would like to see some of what I have to offer check out:

My EBay Listings

Over the next few days I will be listing some beautiful vintage dresses (including the Yellow Diane Von Furstenberg from last week) and some high end items (Marc Jacobs Coat, Dooney and Bourke bag, etc)

I wish I was a graphic designer so I could make everything look cooler...but I am trying.
