There are too many things I want from American Apparel. It gets to the point that upon entering the store I get overwhelmed - Here is my wishlist- my goal is to collect 1-2 pieces per month.

Fall '08 Wish List

Not so much color in this wish list -but then again i already own so many colorful basics




The Breakdown:


- A fall romper in black or army green to wear with boots (I may want the fedora as well)
-Converse in all the colors pictured to go with the ones I already have



-Gray skinny jeans

-Star stud earrings (I had a pair of these 2 years ago that broke...must...go...to chinatown...)

-American Apparel Double U neck dress in black and Raspberry for layering with tights and the gray American Apparel hoodie...also to be worn under the blue acid wash V-neck t-shirt or with the lovely bandeau tube bras I am secretly obsessed with.

-Ever since I laid eyes on Vanessa Hudgens in the High School Musical spread in Elle Magazine I covet studded bracelets...a bunch of them...(Must...steal...from 13 year old sister - HI CLAIRE!)

-A gaudy over-sized cocktail ring

-Multiple chain necklaces in silver

-Over the knee boots in Black and gray

-A black leather (or faux leather) bomber jacket

-That exact pair of Minnetonka Boots

Summer Wish List

It's that time of the year. Here in NYC it's 95 degrees and it has me thinking of my summer wish list. As I am starting to pack my life into suitcases (more on that later) I cant help but covet simple but trendy items

Rompers/Playsuits

I am still looking for this Marimekko one from H&M - I haven't seen it once in all of the (8 h&M's in Manhattan)- What's up with that???


Gladiator Sandals

I picked up a pair of black gladiators at a tag sale last week for $3 I have yet to try them out in the real world yet and I just ordered these babies from Old Navy. Hopefully they fit.



Denim Shorts

I want some straight up cuffed denim shorts. I have a pair of Hudson and Banana Republic Jeans I plan on butchering this week. I love the way they look with basically everything.


American Apparel bodysuits

I picked up one in this exact color yesterday and I can't wait to throw it on under shorts and skirts. I want one in every color.

Some Things I Lurvvvee for Spring

1. Pretty dresses and sleek straight hair - I am in the process of growing my hair back long. Having short blond hair is fun but soon I will be back to my long dark locks.

2. Short Jackets and Short full skirts. I love skirts but I will only wear them if they are above my knees. I love this black and white skirt and how puffy it is. I also love the pink jacket.

3. A chunky mens watch- I will need to make a trip to Chinatown for one (mo point in me spending a lot of money I break and lose watches like it's my job)

4. A light colored Quilted bag. At the last warehouse sale I got a multi colored quilted bag that reminds me of rainbow sorbet - I love it but would love a cream, white or gray quilted bag (Chanel would be even better!)

5. Unique heels. I love that these look like flowers.

6. Black motorcycle boots with buckles, etc.

7. Short black cotton shorts.
I'm a big fan of some of the ones they have at American Apparel.

All these pictures will go on my inspiration wall - and all these items will go on my spring wish list.

Spring Wish List

It's almost February and I am over Winter!
Winter is my least favorite season. It's just too damn cold. and I can never really wear what I want. Plus my big sweaters are taking up too much space (no matter how cute they are)
So now I am dreaming of my Spring Must Haves.
Here is my list. I mixed in some pieces I could never afford right now - but who knows what Salvation Army will bring?

1) A Balenciaga bag. In Turquoise or that fabulous seafoam green color that Fashion Toast has.


2)Vintage Brooches - Lots of them. I do well buying these secondhand or in big lots on ebay.

3) Flat brown leather boots ala Rachel Bilson.
I have posted this picture before - but I'm obsessed with her shoes!



4) More dresses!

5)American Apparel V-neck t-shirts

6) Faux leather bomber jacket. I have one from target that I loove, but am looking for one that is a little heavier. Apparently the one Lauren Conrad is wearing in this photo is from H&M and is only $49.95 - So I might have to go look in to that!



7)Minnetoka knee high boots!

8. Short Full skirts in solid and bright colors

What I Love Right Now

Apparently I love Rachael Bilson right now.



I would kill for that Chanel bag but besides that - The jacket, the jeans, the scarf, the boots, the belt - I will be copying it all.

I cannot think about summer just yet but this is definitely going to be the kind of style I will be going for. I love the long white cardigan and brown shoes.



Blake Lively in Gossip Girl - do I need to say anything about this outfit? It's amazing.
